For All the Humans, the Simplicity of Our Createdness

Psalm 139:13-16
13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.

Why did God make mankind on the earth?

He made us interesting and excellent enough to be called very good, a delight for Him to know and have communion with. We are each a unique creation, made so good and so perfect as to be exactly who He desired us to be.

We were made for eternity when we were pre-conceived. God wanted to know us forever, not just as a thought or idea of what could be, but a really-is, an in-the-flesh, an on earth as in heaven desire come true.

I was MADE to know You and to be known BY You!
Our greatest praise is living our life near Him and looking at Him.

God, my life belongs to You. Help me to maximize my proximity to You right now!

Your pure desire was to know me in the flesh and in spirit here; You placed that same reciprocal desire for You in me, in every human who has ever been or will be. As Your highest creation, You gave us the highest calling, highest desire—to know You and the nearness that would require. You made vast far-reaching galaxies, yet they do not have the intimacy You designed for me, for You and me.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.
~Psalm 145:3

Show me how to walk as Yours, Your special and unique creation, the only one You designed to shine and express You as only I can do. May You be glorified and magnified through me today!

My life belongs to You.

…just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love
~Ephesians 1:4
