Then the angel said to them, Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Dear God, thank you for Jesus, for the true joy He brought to us. It was Your love that gave this gift and we cannot obtain full, perfected joy any other way. Thank you for loving us enough to entrust Your tiny baby love into our hands, for the assurance He gives of Your all-in commitment to us. You drew near by coming to earth vulnerable, desiring us to hold You. I don’t understand; it’s just too amazing but I believe! I love You; thank You for loving me first!
