Remember God

Remember summer?

I know it isn’t that far past but fall and November and Thanksgiving rolled up hard all together. Already yellows and shades of brown and wood smoke and too many uses of the word ‘cozy’.
And pumpkin; please don’t forget pumpkin!

But remember vibrant green and long stretches of wildflower hues and buzzy busy bees and drippy ice cream?

And God’s season-less goodness and the glorious wonder of His majesty? And how even in the suck, we can always count on Him to never change, never move, never look away, to always be right where we saw Him last. When relationships are messy and disappointment abounds and we don’t know where the next whatever is coming from, He’s always faithful, always loves, is always working for our benefit. He sees us, He knows us (yes, even if we don’t know Him); He’s reading your heart right now. He collects the tears our eyes can’t hold any more, not because He wants shelves and shelves of them but because He knows how truly precious they are because of all the “us” that’s put into them… and man, how He loves us!

We are astounded by all You’ve made, surrounded us with, Your created nature, Your Godly nature. The infinite love of Your Christ that causes us bent-knee gratitude every day.

God, we love You! We adore You! Thank You for Your magnificent, so-great love toward us every single second… yes, no matter what!
