God, You satisfy the longing soul… any longing.
When we ache to have a friend, a spouse, deliverance from addiction, freedom from whatever, or healing for a loved one or self
For escape out of fear, out of darkness
For light, hope, rest, peace, or quiet
For dreams, for purpose, for why I matter
But our truest, deepest longing is for Him—and only He can satisfy that.
HE satisfies our longing, whatever it is.
When we long for companionship, His presence fills that lonely space.
If we just want to know that we are seen, He is El Roi who saw us in our forming.
If we long for deliverance from captivity, in Him is that forever-freedom.
If we yearn to live unafraid and hopeful, His perfect love drives fear away and brings hope near.
When our heart desperately wants what our mouth can’t find the words for… in Him we live and move and have our being.
He satisfies your desire with good…

You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.

And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

See all the confirmations of His promise? He satisfies desire, fulfills desire, in drought, in dry places, with good, no living thing excluded. And as part of his satisfying, while He is fulfilling, He hears cries, saves, gives constant guidance, makes us strong to our core, and waters in overflowing abundance so we flourish.
Satiates. Quenches. Fills.
Fully-satisfying Satisfaction.
