Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. ~Isaiah 43:19 ESV
He wanted to be near us and SO wanted us to be able to get to Him that He made a way—MADE a way!—where there wasn’t a way. Where pride and deception and self-exalting formed a mountain, obscuring any evidence there had ever been a direct connection, way back in The Garden.
He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end. ~Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMP
For it pleased the Father that in Him (Jesus, The Way) all the fullness should dwell... ~Colossians 1:19
For US, He made a way in the wilderness of bitter ends and hopelessness; He made Living Water to flow unfailingly in the desert of dissatisfaction—dissatisfaction with everything else we try to fulfill us, make us happy, feed our hunger, quench our thirst, slake our deepest longing. Because there is literally and figuratively and physically and every ‘ly’ you can think of, nothing else in all of creation that will truly ever fill us and thrill us as He alone can.
His love…indistinguishable from Him, inseparable from us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?… For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~Romans 8:35,38,39
Be still, and know that I am God… ~Psalm 46:10
